On behalf of the ICPE2007 Organizing Committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Physics Education: Building Careers with Physics, which will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from November 11-16, 2007.

This conference will be hosted by the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech - in collaboration with the Tunisian Society of Optics (STO), the Moroccan Society of Applied Physics (SMPA) and the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia (FSS). ICPE2007 is supported by the International Commission on Physics Education (ICPE) of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP).

ICPE2007 is the first IUPAP-supported international conference on physics education in North Africa. The main objective of ICPE2007 is to provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences about Building Careers with Physics, and to discuss the potentialities which the physical sciences offer in curricula development, and their impact on enriching the professional skills of the graduates. This conference will bring together physicists, physics educators, physics education researchers and curriculum developers from around the World to share and debate their findings and experiences in the teaching-learning process in Physics, in general, and in career-oriented curricula and Educational Reforms in particular. The main conference topics are:
